I was a member of irishtorrents for about 6 months and downloaded about 80G worth of movies etc. they had a great selection but peers dropped new ones fast. Great Rte and Tg4 content. Just to let all you cool cats know, in case you're all having second thoughts about this site, that asshole from Dublin 5 didn't get banned for uploading stuff to tpb, he got banned after complaints from other users after getting PMs from him and 'cos he was just generally acting like a prick to other decent people trying to use the site normally.

Good luck getting invites, they're well worth the effort.

My own site bloodflowerz.org is a waste of everyones time. irishtorrents.com is much better with a far superior selection of irish files, a great community and the best staff you'll find anywhere. Sorry for the confusion - I can be a right pillock at times.

They're cracking down on invites because of some fella after setting up another site like irishtorrents and is taking stuff off there and uploading it onto his own site claiming its his or something like that. Not sure what to think about this site, given all the comments. I'm just trying to get some help in verifying my ancestry in cork. I've tracked people down in my family using every resource I have at my disposal. I can only get so effing far, I need to learn Irish to decipher my lineage. All the records my family kept before moving to America were written in Irish, but no one left in my family speaks it.

Irish is a dying language, I want to learn it so I can pass it on, not just for myself, but for all Irish Americans.

I don't want to see a part of my heritage pass on because only a few people in Ireland speak our native language but won't pass it on.
